Chief Bondage OfficerFrankie (she/her) is a best selling sapphic romance author, professional astrologer and co-founder of Bound and Breathless.
Frankie writes fun and kinky romance books centered around diverse characters, delicious tension, and swoony happily ever afters. She loves creating stories where readers see themselves fully on the page.
Bound and Breathless book box grew out of that same desire. Created to celebrate sapphic books and spread the love of exclusive sapphic special editions. With a background in operations, Frankie helps bring that vision to life.
As a professional astrologer, Frankie blends astrology with psychology to inspire and teach people how to read their unique compass so they can more confidently navigate each day, deeply connect with themselves and others, and create a life they love. Her work specializes in pleasure, storytelling and transformation.
When she's not writing kissing books, studying client charts or teaching, she can be found reading, playing violin, on the hunt for good food, and hanging out with her hedgehog Beans.
Sayer mesh (they/them)
Chief Breath Work OfficerSayer Mesh (they/them) is a therapist, content creator, public speaker, and co-founder of Bound and Breathless.
Sayer started Wanderland Reads in 2020 while searching for other sapphic readers in the book community. What began as a small online space for sharing book recommendations grew into a platform for literary discussion, advocacy for sapphic fiction, and collaboration with authors and readers who want to see more queer folks centered in storytelling.
Sayer is the author of Thrive: A Therapeutic Guide to Exploring Your Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression, which is releasing in summer 2026. The book was written for people coming out of evangelical and other high-control religious spaces who are learning how to explore identity, sexuality, and self-expression without shame all through the lens of using romance as a way to explore identity.
Outside of their literary work, Sayer is a clinical social worker and trauma therapist with an MSW. They specialize in religious trauma, spiritual abuse, and cult recovery, and primarily work with queer and trans clients navigating identity, healing, and life after high-control belief systems. Sayer also provides trauma sensitivity reading and editorial consultation for authors who want to portray trauma with care and accuracy.
Why we started the box
We started this box because we wanted to see more sapphic books centered in queer spaces. Too often, sapphic stories are treated like an afterthought. They get pushed to the back of the shelf, left off recommendation lists, passed over in conversations about queer romance, or spoken about as if they are niche instead of necessary. We wanted to build something that says, clearly and unapologetically, sapphic readers are here, sapphic stories matter, and sapphic desire deserves to be celebrated.
This box exists because we wanted more than visibility. We wanted a space where sapphic love gets to be hot, tender, aching, playful, messy, reverent, filthy, soft, and delicious. We wanted to show the full range of what sapphic romance can hold. The longing. The tension. The healing. The pleasure. The danger of wanting someone so much it changes how you see yourself. The safety of being wanted back.
Every box is curated with that intention. We choose books and items that center sapphic identity, queer culture, and the themes that make these stories feel alive. We want each box to feel like an invitation into a world where sapphic readers are not an add-on or an afterthought. You are the point.
We made this because sapphic love deserves the spotlight. Sapphic desire deserves reverence. Sapphic books deserve to be held, shared, collected, screamed about, and read late into the night.
